About Denise

I am passionate about ensuring our financial education is sound and accurate. I believe financial literacy is important for the next generation, and I’m proud to assist Mitlin in its mission to use its platform to help educate.

I bring more than a decade of marketing experience to Mitlin Financial, Inc., as a founder and operator of a trademarked blog with a large social media presence.

My goal is to deliver firm-created content that keeps clients informed and helps others gain insight from the team’s in-depth knowledge of the finance space.

I am also passionate about helping people outside of finances. I am the co-chair of the Keith Milano Memorial Fund at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The fund is named in memory of my brother Keith, who was died by suicide in 2004. Every May, I facilitate a mental health awareness book fundraiser. Through this online event, authors donate a portion of their May book sales to the fund. Since Keith’s death we have raised more than 1.7 million dollars for the fund and touched many lives with his story and our desire to change the dialogue around mental health

Outside of the office, when I’m not creating and posting content, I’m traveling to visit my boys at school as both are off carving their place in the world.

I married Larry, who founded Mitlin, in 2000 – we can often be found completing each other’s sentences and planning our next Disney vacation.
