An elite Special Forces background prepared Matan for what was ahead
Matan says his training as a Special Operative has enabled him to think differently, in a way that prepared him for the entrepreneurial world where creativity and innovation are prerequisites.
His belief is that no matter what happens, the situation is all you have to work with and you CAN win from that vantage point. Practically, it means he’s learned not to sweat the small things because those concerns will translate into the larger things which can have larger impact across the board.
As you might imagine, that mindset has translated powerfully into his success as an entrepreneur, fueling Inc 5000 recognition in 2020. Listen to hear Matan’s story!
Why would a professional soldier and trainer develop a program for everyday people?
After moving to New York, Matan Gavish (Founder and CEO of Fit Hit) realized that the average person needs to learn how to defend themselves and live a more secure and successful life. Matan was greatly motivated by the statistic, that 30 to 50 women would be sexually assaulted in New York City every week. Those women (for example) would never go to one of those studios, so he decided to figure out how to create something specifically designed for them that they would try out.
He created a different formula to reach people like them and Fit Hit was born. Listen to hear the rest of Matan’s incredible journey and how his programs are changing the lives of real people all around the globe.
A complete transformation program: Body, Mind, Nutrition = Life Success
Fit Hit is a life-changing experience that many aspects. First, it addresses nutrition to help participants reach aesthetic goals as well as fitness goals. Next, for the fitness component, Krav Maga is the powerful tool used to get participants in the best shape of their lives.
But perhaps the most powerful aspect of the program is the weekly mindset curriculum each student uses to change the lens through which they view the world.
In all these areas, participants learn real-life skills to defend themselves and others, the athleticism attached to that, and the nutrition principles and mindset needed to empower their efforts. Listen to learn how Fit Hit is changing the lives of people globally and how Matan’s story might inspire you to live up to your highest potential.
